Just had a chat with a fren on msn,
Both of us were lamenting on how life is so mundane, routine…
It is really a price we pay for stability and peaceful life?

Is the world too down to believe in hope,
Why does ppl tag hope as a cheat???
Having hope is jus a motion,
The object of the hope is then the key!

Having hope that the sun will rise again every morning,
Is that a lie?
Having hope that yr bank acc will have sudden deposits of a million dollars,
Its absurd, but it’s a hope…
There’s no right or wrong in having hope,
Just having hope in the right thing or not.
(But frankly speaking, having hope in one day $ would be deposited in yr bank acc
Is really not that a good choice…)

I’m not preaching to you, or trying to convince you wat I believe,
But I’m merely tell you, sharing with you wat I believe and think.
I may not be right but I am sure of one thing,
And that’s my hope of life.

My hope of life is that there is a God who came down to earth to die for mankind.
He came when we did not know him, but becos he made us, and loved us,
He came willingly to come in the form of a human, and died to pay for ALL our sins.
Why pay sins? Cos sin is like a debt, and the penalty for this debt is death, separation from God.
By paying this debt, which can only be paid by blood of a perfect man.

With this debt paid, we can go to God…
We can go to him as his children and have all the good things he has in according to his riches.
(Wanna know wat are the riches? Go read bible bah… it gives more detail explanations than I can give.)

Yes, like all things there is a catch, and this catch is…

You have to accept this gift of payment;
When ppl give u stuffs, good or bad, valuable or not,
Its still not yours until u ACCEPT that gift.
It doesn’t cost anything for u to accept this gift,
All it takes is for you to believe in your heart and tell God.

You can use this prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me and dying for me on the cross.
Your precious blood washes me clean of every sin.
You are my Lord, my Saviour and my God, now and forever.
I believe that You rose from the dead and that You are alive today.
God, I believe that you are my Father and I am you child because of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for filling my heart with your peace and joy.
